Nature can be so beautiful sometimes…
This is a way cool stop-motion animation piece. The animation is really painted on the walls. Four stars for creativity.

Here’s a blast from the past. Remember any of these?
The possibility of owning a personal droid is getting closer. Unfortunately, they are still way too expensive for the average household. Maybe my kids might be able to have their droid perform specific tasks like taking out the trash or saving their life in a epic galactic battle.
I just returned from attending my second year at Coachella. If you haven’t heard of this festival its a gynormus outdoor festival with way to many bands and 183,000 people. They have it in the West Palm Desert CA (by Palm Springs) on polo fields surrounded by palm trees. The fields are covered with a tough grass which makes it quite nice to walk on and reduces the dust. There are 5 stages and a few smurf villages with DJ’s for all night trippers. Also, there are a bunch of art installations to play & climb on or just stare at.
To get to my point it’s all a little overwhelming. Even my second time I still was overcome by the magnitude of this festival. I even had a plan of attack to hop from stage to stage to catch a glimpse of the bands I wanted to see but that fell apart the first day. I maybe caught 20% of the shows on my schedule. It was just to hectic to get to a stage on time. After drinking 3 or 4 $7 Heineken’s you need to find a port-o-potty which is an ordeal. Then trying to relocate your friends can be a whole another mess since there are 180 K peeps trying to text their friends at the same time. The signals were getting all jammed up for sure. After the show you are exhausted and then you need to find your car to wait for an hour to get out of the parking lot.
Anyway, maybe I am just getting older and less adventuress. If I was 18 again I would camp out for the 3 days and stay up all night long. Rave till the sun rises over the misty mountains. Either way it’s a life experience I am glad I have under the belt. I saw a ton of good live music, saw some crazy and cool people and was living and walking on the Earth. That’s what it’s all about.

Wow!!!
Here’s a cool contrast. The skateboard game I played as a wee lad and the stuff they are producing today. We have come a long way. It’s hard to decide if these new games are more fun then the old stuff. Of course the graphics, realism, controls and tricks are far superior but there was just something simple but hard at the same time with the old. Nothing like sticking a huge 540 on the half pipe in Sk8 or Die. Oh well, I can play both now if I want. I’m not complaining.

“In April last year, London design outfit FHD proudly announced it would be rebranding the UK’s Office of Government Commerce (OGC) – the HM Treasury tentacle “responsible for improving value for money by driving up standards and capability in procurement”

“According to an inside source, the graphic had allegedly already been inscribed onto mousemats and pens in anticipation of its imminent deployment, but it took OGC foot soldiers around 20 seconds to realise why this particular bit of joss-stick-driven madness was going to end in tears (of laughter):”
Hahahahah!
I stumbled across this photos set that I love. The treatment is so mysterious and I love the cat which happens to look just my cat. The artist is: Mattijn Franssen
